3 Tips For Staying Healthy Throughout The Holidays

  1. Maintain Your Exercise Schedule: We know exercising during the holidays can be difficult and hard to do when you are so busy, but any kind of exercise is better than no exercise. Taking a daily walk, do some in place jumping jacks, or hit the gym for a quick session if possible!
  1. Make & Eat Healthier Holiday Dishes: There are healthier versions of every type of meal you can think of! Try making and eating healthier versions of your favorite holiday dishes.
  1. Plan Ahead To Ensure Your Health Needs Are Taken Care of: If you suffer from a chronic illness, plan ahead to ensure your health needs are taken care of, especially when traveling. For example, if you have diabetes, make sure you are prepared with insulin, your diabetes monitoring device, and anything else you might need. If you suffer from IBS, make sure to know what your trigger foods are so you can avoid any digestive symptoms and bring Low FODMAP meals or snacks with you just in case you can't eat the food provided.
