Standing with Altadena: How “Rebuilding Together” Brought Relief, Nutrition, and Hope to Fire Survivors
When devastating firestorms swept through Altadena, hundreds of families were forced to flee their homes with little more than the clothes they were wearing. Entire neighborhoods were lost, schools closed, and already-strained housing challenges intensified overnight. For many survivors, the path forward can feel overwhelming.
We believe that healing begins with nourishment, compassion, and community support. On February 24, we were humbled to join CityServe International, Cope Health Solutions, Some1 Loves You, and Iglesias El Nuevo Nacimiento for the “Rebuilding Together: Altadena Fire Relief” event — an afternoon dedicated to easing immediate burdens and reminding families that they are not alone.

As part of our ongoing commitment to California communities, ModifyHealth provided over 1,600 fully prepared meals and onsite support from our Community Health team to help eligible Medi-Cal members access benefits and long-term resources.
